Training
in First Aid
First Aid Training for HFR volunteers
We run weekly first aid training sessions
on Tuesday evenings at Crondall Old Gymnasium from 8 to 10 pm to keep our
skills current and well practised. These sessions are also open to
those we have previously trained, who may wish to update their skills.
If you would like to come along please contact Hester Wain by phone on
01252-629132 or Email admin@hartfirstresponse.org.uk
to check that the session is still on, or check the First
aid training programme online.
Courses
We currently run a number of courses a
year, aimed at helping everyone to learn first aid (see
photos). Anyone can learn first aid, you do not need to
be brainy and you do not need to be super-fit, you just need to want to
learn! We have trained people from seven years old to over eighty
and have helped those with wide range of learning needs to gain competence
in first aid. We do not have exams or tests in our courses, but continually
assess your progress and help you to achieve the very best that you can.
We provide the following courses, usually
based at our training venue (Crondall Old Gymnasium):
-
Adult Emergency Life Support (2 hours)
-
Child and Infant Resuscitation (2 hours)
-
Basic First Aid, First Response (6-8 hours)
-
Scout/Guide/Cub first aid badges
However, we are also more than happy to tailor
a course specifically to your needs, or to come to your venue, please let
us know.

groups:
-

-
