All new volunteers need to complete induction training, which is now possible online.  First review and download the attached powerpoint HFR Induction slides, then complete the online quiz (you will need your volunteer ID to register).

Mandatory Training
All volunteers need to complete annual mandatory training in the following, which is available on Tuesday training sessions:

• Core skills– Basic life support, primary survey, bleeding and shock, recovery position
• Communication, complaints, confidentiality, consent, data protection and patient healthcare records (PRFs)
• Defibrillator (AED)
• Equality, diversity and human rights
• Fire and Motorsport Safety 
• Infection prevention and control - aseptic technique and personal protective equipment
• Medicines (administration of drugs) and medical devices management
• Moving and handling 
• Risk, being open and Incident reporting
• Safeguarding – child and adult
